This architectural model of a housing estate at Rüsselsheimer Strasse in Kelsterbach near Frankfurt was build together with Werner Steiner Modellbau. For the scale of 1:200 many details are best displayed in a graphical way. Therefore all fronts of the buildings had been designed on PC according to the specifications of the architect and the constructor. The resulting graphics had been printed, cut and carefully mounted on the 3D structures.
The model is mounted on a base plate of 950 x 600 mm.
The details of the terrain as well as streets and paths are displayed graphically.
The terraced houses demonstrate the close relation of modelling and graphical details quite impressing.
Property lines are displayed to demonstrate the boundaries of the estates.
Different apartment buildings are part of the model as well.
